In recent years, the low and no alcohol beer category has become the fastest growing in the lager category. Recent studies show 2 in 5 drinkers have tried a low and no alchohol alternative in the last 3 months. This shift in consumer attitude is due to several factors, including changing preferences and improvements in the quality and taste of low and no alcohol beers.

Some versions of low alcohol beer struggled to gain popularity as there was a clear difference in taste between them and their alcoholic counterparts.
